Don't Google search for this if you're on a shared computerjonbuoy wrote:nice forum name
Re the price it seems it's just someone who's too in love with his car to value it reasonably. If it's absolutely mint with that mileage you should be looking at around half his asking price IMO.

£4.5k is exactly what I paid for one of my tourings - but that was many, many years ago.
The problem is I think the price he has put on it is what he values it at, not what it will sell for. Two completely different things!

Just to clarify i am NOT the hero who wants £4500 for his chariot. My touring has done 94000 and is considerably cheaper. Thanks for the nice words Chaos and Simon, hot chocolates on me !

There's a late, absolutely standard, slightly faulty green 318i Touring just gone on ebay for £1240. Absolutely nothing going for it except that it's apparently in good condition. Even has the less than desirable tan trim.
Shows that there are people out there willing to pay good money for E30s.

It had 66 000 on it thats what I think is special about it! If it didn't have an electrical problem and was slightly better advertised I think it could sell for £1500!Brianmoooore wrote:There's a late, absolutely standard, slightly faulty green 318i Touring just gone on ebay for £1240. £4.5 is too much for 115 000 though. I know you should always buy on condition, but there is something about low mileage e30s. Just how the switches are all tight is something...

There isn't a single thing on my 250,000 mile touring (which is the one I payed £4.5k for) in the trim/switches/general appearance areas, except for the sandblasted windscreen, to distinguish it from a 60k mile one
