im off to pick up my car again after the longstanding smoke issues having been resolved
anyone like to have a guess as to how long it will last this time before it requires another rebuild?

turbo was stripped down and rebuilt,a ring inside it had snapped allowing the oil to pass through but the underlying problem is the piston rings.it was embarrassing sitting at traffic lights, a large cloud would surround the car

Mine smokes a bit when i close the throttle at 5.5k-6k rpm, i think i might have damaged a valve oil seal the last time i rebuilt the head as i didn't have any of those plastic cap things you put over the ends of the valves to protect the oil seal
Two weeks with a lead foot, 4 without.anyone like to have a guess as to how long it will last this time before it requires another rebuild? Rolling Eyes
