Well, my mate Tony and I are now E30 owners. We bought the 325i Sport off jonb - Ԛ£570 quid worth of work later (mostly welding) and it has an MOT.
We plan to use it for auto-testing, 12 car rallies and possibly the odd trackday, so the interior is up for sale (see http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... pic&t=3344), or will be dumped, and bucket seats (and eventually a cage and harnesses) will go in. Any tips for fitting bucket seats would be appreciated.
One quick question: the drivers door will unlock (with the key) but not lock - you can only lock it from inside with the door shut, and there's no evidence of central locking working. Any clues as to what might be wrong?
