Right, I think its time for me to actually do some "modifying" as all I have been so far doing is replacing worn out components.

Bodywork is staying as is until spring when I get the front end sprayed ( 16 years worth of stone chips!)

What can I do next?

Any of you guys got and ideas??? :burn:

Definitely needs suspension mods...

Some BBS RS's

Tinted lights

Erm... then a leather re-trim...

And then...

that's enough I think!

Easy mate. Chop the top off, fit a fat kit, tr-trim like G say's, fat wheels, & nice Kandy paint. That will do for the mean time until you're ready to properly mod her, then you can come see me and we'll sort something out

Fot now, i think nice wide rims :thumb: and a slammed suspension will do

329iturbo: I have pondered the motorsport wheel option, not sure if it would look ok on a black car???

Geeman: the car is on koni adjustables adn springs -40mm, could lower it some more, any suggestion on spring choice???

The car has leather (in need of repair), I was thinking of a retrim or going for buckets and harness' (should get some fairly cheap as both my Dad and Brother work for Safety Devices).

I have had a set of 18" Arospeed RS GT's but I preffered the hanlding on my 15" x spokes. Wheel choices, decisions decisions????

Karan: I am thinking of saving for a 2.7 conversion, although I do have a nearly new spare 325i head sat in a box in my garage??????????

320Touring: Thanks m8, your comment is really appreciated, I already have an LSD.

sh%t, sorry dude !*clocks word 'SPORT' in nickname

defo a sweet ride though!wouln't go too far with the body mods (15' bbs are ideal for ride comfort)maybe a modest susp drop.

keep all the mods under the hood, and it'll be a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Keep it stock, upgrade the dampers and springs as you've suggested, then turbo it for a proper sleeper look.

why not I say :drive:

60/40 is the perfect drop for the e30, I have apex springs/shox on mine and she handles sweet , ride is still bearable too if a little choppy on really bad roads.

Thanks ant.

I shall go and get some springs as soon as I can.

I have a spare nearly new complete cylinder head, I may have it polished and ported, do you or anyone else know how extreme you can take a head?

Save your Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£ with regard to the head dude, theres little to be gained as the ports are a good size and shape from the factory.

Maybe match the ports to the intake and exhaust manifolds to smooth the flow , its DIY able with a dremel or similar, the money saved on the head can go towards a cam upgrade in the future maybe ?

how much do you want to invest 8)

300 max budget to spend on the head.

I fitted some new inlet manifold gaskets yesturday, I noticed that there was a small bump at the base of each inlet. Could I remove this?

Ant... you got Apex shocks and springs on your 325... and you think they're great...? I had APex 60mm package on my convertible and hated it. Far too harsh a ride for me.

Just sourced a second hand set of H&R 40mm springs on here along with a spare pair of 60mm fronts all for Ԛ£55... nice.
