front seats will fit from a coupe, only difference is cab seats do not recline back as far as they would hit the rear bracing under rear seat. 4 door front seats will fit but need modification to enable them to fold forward.
rear seat in a cab is narrower than standard 2/4 door
front door cards are the same, rears are cab specific
cabs from beginning to end are all the same interior trim only difference is the seat style (comfort/sport) and trim cloth leather etc

Looking at piccies of an M3 interior the other day, am I right in thinking the rear seats are the same as the cabs, or do my eyes deceive me? I know's there was lots of things different about an M3 to a standard 3.mrLEE30 wrote:front seats will fit from a coupe, only difference is cab seats do not recline back as far as they would hit the rear bracing under rear seat. 4 door front seats will fit but need modification to enable them to fold forward.

Also the seats don't recline as far back as normal E30 seats because of safetyMrLee wrote:only difference is cab seats do not recline back as far
They have extra strength in the seats in case of roll over!

The seat reclining handles are also in a different place on a cab, from memory i think they are lower down on the cab seats.
Also the seat adjusters fitted to the side of the seat base are different! the handles curve in towards the seats on a cab, and curve out on a saloon! This is because there is less room by the side of the seat in the cab due to the thicker sills.

You mean will an interior from a "proper" convertible interior fit a Baur?
I don't think so, I thought Baurs were effectively standard E30s with a big sunroof and so had standard seats (i.e. wider at the back).
Though I've only seen one in person so can't confirm that. I'm almost 100% though.

Picked car up last night and to be honest think theres a few things i need to sort before interior.Like why i have no tail brake or reverse light ,why there is a relay constantly clicking when i lock the car and a new hood, oh and to remember how easy it is to loose the rear end, that did shock and awe me. Well pleased with bodywork and engine though.
