How to remove the steering rack and rear axle from a touring without getting back ache or doing your kneck in, or hitting your head.

Take 1 big hairy rope
1 pick up truck in 4*4 mode
Pull gently
Vola!

Yes but all the parts are going off to make lots of other little tourings happy. Dobbie now has the nearly new exhaust AFM and FPR........ Less3223 has the alloys to put his sport back to original. gcorkey has the sump so he can turbo his touring, a guy in Bedfordshire has the leather seats....
and it had had an engine fire and about 40kg of filler all over the body, I kid you not... it was what is know in the trade as a shitter.

Hundreds of kilos of filler in the body, go on I'll give you 1 guess what the underneath of the sunroof looks like......................

If anyone needs a fuel tank, it looks like it will be coming off as I can hear the fuel sloshing about and wouldn't want to wase it, the fuel that is not the tank, being a Yorkshireman and all that...

PS What do I do with the hand brake cables when the axle comes off?? Just cut them? If some one converts to discs can they use their old cables?

PS Steve did that code plug work then??

Sorry mate for some reason I have this mental image of it working already!!!

Fitting the code plug shouldn't be difficult, or the temp sender. So what you going to do after 9.30??
