Just been out today and the car stops  It had been running lumpy for a couple of days put it down to the cold weather now i find the pump is not working checked all the normal things and they are fine. So new pump time i have heard there are some out there that are not that good and as my car gets used a lot for work i need a good one. Were do i go and what sort of price i was told one from the stealers is about Ԛ£160 with the vat any idea's would be great.

i paid Ԛ£150 for a new bosch one when mine went on my 318i a few years ago, that was from camberley auto factors. I expect you can get them cheaper from gsf or euro car parts. Not too bad a job to do yourself

GSF only sell the Bosch uits so quality is not an issue dude.

you can save a few Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ by buying the pump unit itself rather than the complete drop in assy.

Its an easy swop either method dude. the advantage of swoping the whole lot is you get a nice new sender unit as well.
