I know some members went off to Germany recently. Are there any companies that do Euro Breakdown Cover for cars over 15 years of age?

RAC do (Or did). It cost me about £70 for 7 days on my '88 320i, but I am a member with them already.

Go to money supermarket.com and you can get 1st choice cover UK and Europe for around £70 for a year. It covers just as much as RAC / AA include breakdown recovery and money for overnight stay etc etc.

I have had it for nearly a year, but I haven't broken down so I don't really know what its like when you do break down! Seam to be easily contactable as I have changed cars a few time in the year.

One thing why it is cheaper is that it covers the car rather than the driver (as AA/RAC do) which means that if you are in another car you can't use it. But it does cover anyone who is insured to drive your car.

Sunny France in the summer, here I come! Expect images of the car sat infront of various famous landmarks.

Many thanks.
