So it got me thinking, Stevetigger has given me inspiration about just doing an engine swap. I don't want to go bigger cos I'm only 23 so insurance is an issue, and it's my daily driver so fuel is too.
So what's the insurance like in aan M50 engined E30?
How difficult is the conversion, will it plug and play? Cos wiring is my bete noir. I know I'll need the M50 ecus etc... And whats with this vanos stuff? And where would I get a cheapish M50???
Input appreciated guys, just a thought / idea at the moment, just thought if the engines coming out why put it back!
Anyone got an M50 under their bed they don't want?
