Anyway, Ive drove plenty of cars in the mean time including plenty of new ones and I have to say that the good old E30 is ten times the car of any of them! Its so nice, everything feels just right and now with the Z3 shifter its even more of a joy hence one of the reasons I did 50 miles tonight without thinking about it.
I'd forgotten how nice E30's are to drive

Seeing my car was off the road for 7 months (
) I was driving all sorts of other cars and work cars etc in the mean time when needed. Thankfully I get the train to work so only need the car for the shops or for fun.

I've noticed a BIG difference between the tourer and the "new" cab. Both are the same year (K plate), the tourer is a 316i, and the cab is a 318i. It's amazing just how different they are to handle on the same road to & from work. I think they both have good qualities, and I love driving them both - yep E30s are great to drive!
