Anyone done this?
I'm assuming it can't be done since I haven't found a listing for a dedicated touring application - it just says E30...
Probably springs not up to it?
Cheers in advance for any info.....

Try Carl at Proven Products http://www.proven-products.co.uk/
He sorted out my Tourer with Bilstein Sprint fronts/ KYB rears & 4 springs - 40 mm, 4 years ago. Still good despite heavy load & towing duties. Saved about Ԛ£100 on the equivalent Kit from Europarts.
Bilsteins Ԛ£230, KYBs Ԛ£80, springs Ԛ£79...

Let us know how you get on Toby
Been looking for some time at the -60/-40 kit FK Automotive do for the Touring on that site.......just not sure on taking a gamble on a kit i cant find many E30 owner reviews or pictures of!
And after seeing the pictures Sal put up of the H&R Cab kit on a Touring i've kinda gone off it, it just didnt seem to sit right

New pictures of my Touring coming tommorrow evening.
My pictures were with 205/50 tyres and the front lower lip was missing aswell.
The Cab cup kit on a touring is brilliant to say the least.

its fitted in my sig 343 plus 12 delivered ,pepes on here have seen my car and vouch for its great stance, handling is 100 percent.i am on 50 series rubber which may appear as a larger arch gap than the standard 55s.
your choice at the end of the day .but bear in mind no one can make a perfect setup for touring due to the big laden and unladen weight difference.
but hnr cup is one of the closest.
tried and tested .top quality kit.

got the bilsten street line kit on my 316i, top kit but is at i little too low, so u change the rear springs to 318IS ones so now it has a nice even drop and as an all round kit its very very good.
on the IS , again using yellow bilsteins all round (the inverted ones up front) with the supplied springs (slightly modded for a lower front) and the fucker is on rails, high speed stability is amazing but the shortfall is a little harsh on some roads.

I bet it is but the H&R's 60/40 drop is too low for me.M5pilot wrote:New pictures of my Touring coming tommorrow evening.

I've lowered a 320i that much and it just got on my nerves!!
I may just go for Bilstein OE shocks and a new set of springs from GSF or some mtech from BMW - don't know if they would be available for touring and/or very expensive though.
cheers for yur input gentlemen most appreciated
