Well got the 325i se and had it less then 2 days drove it home and with in 5 minute's had people at the door asking about it 8O Turns out that about 5 years ago the car belonged to a guy in my town(who i did not know)who was in to all sort's of things and got himself shot   Can not belive how many people remember the car round were i know live but it used to be one of his area's(i have only lived here 3yr's)So a friend of mine in a different town now's has it got my money back and he is not worried about the history.

I've hear'd things like this before and I think you done the best thing, the last thing you want is people who got a grudge with the former keeper taking it out on the car. Thats the sort of shit you can do without !

This wasn't that guy who got assasinated by those two lads on a motorbike which was later found to have a really dodgy ambiguous numberplate, near the curlew pub on the B2244?

lol, i expect a few of our car were previously owned by drug dealers/gangstars.
In the 80s when they first came out, 325is and sports would have mainly been the car of choice for yuppies and young executives, then in the late 80s early to mid ninties drug dealers and crooks.
If only our cars could speak, i expect a few would have a tale or two to tell.
fair play for passing the car on to a different area, who needs that kind of heat.

Bumped into a former owner of my car a while back, and it turns out that one of the former owners was a member of Kenneth Noyes' gang, and was one of the guys who carried out the Range Rover killings 15 or so years ago. Kenneth Noye was the guy who did the M25 murder, and his gang were implicated in the Brinks Mat bullion robbery at heathrow.

These guys were serious gangsters, so it often makes me wonder about the conversations that have taken place in it, whether there have been bodies in the boot, etc.

Can't say that it worries me particularly, I live at the other end of the country, the car is now on a private reg and it was all a long time ago.

Kind of cool in a twisted kind of way!

LMFAO, I wish! So far as I can tell there are no little 'legacies' of its interesting life, possibly a bit of DNA in the boot, who knows! :guns: :chainsaw:

My old e30 was a "known" car, found this out about a week after I got it on the road, was pulled over and before I knew it there was a copper at my door HELPING me out of the car, calmed down abit once out and nothing really came of it, he said he thought I was someone else.
About a week later the same thing and again on the way home from work one night, I noticed a copper come back around the rdabout and I figured here we go again, so stupidly I thought I could have a laugh and just try and keep one step ahead, took a few choice turns and almost made it back in a compete circle before I was cornered by 3 cars, flashing lights and some directions shouted to get out of the car, hands up, I shat myself, got out and it happened again, minute I was out the car, they were cool, 2 cars just shot off and a copper came over and asked about the car, the usual stuff, so I asked him WTF??? He explains the last owner was sent down for drugs/gbh/abh and some other nasty charges and wasn't due out for a while yet, the car was still registered under his name and had been sitting in his garden till I bought it the week before.

We sorted out the police records there and then and all was cool, but I did search the whole car inside out just to check

the score with the numberplate is sum1 tried to pull the plate off 1 night thus shagging the threads where you usually put the plate. so i screwed it to the bumper.
between july '05 and september '05 i received about 25 producers from the met, thames valley and surrey police force. the car was strip searched once with people tapping all the doors looking for hidden compartments and once with dogs. they found a roll of clingfilm under the back bench 8) lol and i have a court appearance in june because of it,

looks the bollocks tho. check out the alpina bumper. still got it too. lol
