Just bought a pair of Sport seats for the Touring - Ãƒ”šÃ‚£45.
OK, so the drivers seat's tatty, but for that price I can get it refurbed and still have a pair on the cheap.

they are bmw copies made under licence i believe.
Bit like the vaux copies as well

has something to do with the fact that recaro cant meet the demand of the manufactors so they lt them use a simular design

Thanks Guys. Confirmed what I thought. I'm not bothered as the "Recaros" I had in my RS were copies.

Nice one Stu, I think your well overdue some good luck this year!

Others are right the though the Sports seats aren't "real" Recaros though,still call mine that though,sounds better than saying sports seats,that makes it sound like you've got something naff from Halfrauds!

Funnily enough my MK1 Astra SR had genuine Recaros,but my MK2 GTE had "fake" ones,must of been the demand for Recaros in the hot hatch era of the Eighties Recaro couldn't keep up with i guess.

Check these out. Not sure about the colour, but if it's not right, if you can get them for sensible money, would be worth getting them re-covered. If they'd been on a week ago, I'd have been on them myself!
