PBMW track day-oh well.

got the phone call from PBMW again today about the track day they are organising at bruntingthorpe in leicester. he said they where inviting 10 of the fastest bmw's in the country for a days testing and timing. im not sure if they were setting me up as wipping boy as im only 290 bhp ,no were near being one of the fastest anyway,unfortunately it on tuesday 21 march so i cant make it due to work .i was looking forward to a good blast on the track and mag feature ,but plenty more time for that. next time they phone ill be running around the 370 bhp mark which should be capable of holding its own on the track

That's a shame mate, have you done much more to her yet? Chose the colour you want?

yes mate,chose the colour,im going to go with the calypso red met.not done much lately apart from repairs to clutch master cylinder+ slave and all the minor problems like fixing the electric wing mirrors,wiring up stereo, manual control switch for the twin cooling fans,handbrake shoes and other maintainance things trying to save up a bit for the next spending spree( fun things to make it go faster)

i tend to use steve walkers bodyshop in Bathgate,west lothian.he did my last project and my various mishaps in the wet. not that cheap but a good finish. can you recommend some one else?
