I originaly had a garage lift the engine from the 525e in to the E30 but for some reason they swapped over just the engines and used the wrong torue converter and starter ring !
Saturday I removed the engine and gearbox with the trusty tractor
Autobox has been painted a nice red aswell as the engine etc..
The torque converter and starting ring swapped over.
Im glad i removed the engine as the garage bodged it by leaving out some bolts that were akward to get to.
This coming week im off and the whole engine bay will be stripped out and re-painted.
Its been a bit of a struggle but im slowly getting there !
