Got shown a red G-reg E30 last night,not sure if its a 316i or 318i but apparently its had something done to the engine but as it was dark i didnt bother seeing what. I only had a quick look at it so i havent got a clue what milege it has. Its got 15inch alloys, think they were tsw hockenhiems if not then they have a very close resemblence to them. Its got smoked rear clusters, M-tech 2 boot spoiler(dont know if its genuine or not),peco big bore 4 or simalar back box and full leather interior but unsure what condition and its got colour coded bumpers. The paintwork and body seemed sound but like i said it was dark so couldnt say for sure, i didnt notice a couple of small dents in the drivers door but they were only small. Unsure on mot but its taxed till june.
The guys told me to make him an offer but im unsure what its worth, i was either thinking i could tidy it up a bit and maybe make a bit of money on it or even strip it and sell it in bits
Any thoughts much appreciated

Well its got a few nice bits on it but without MOT it is not worth a lot without knowing condition of body, chassis, engine and tyres etc.
Ok the leather may be worth a little but is it comfort or sport and what condition is it in ??
To be honest from what you have told the car is not worth more than the sum total of its parts (no mot etc).
If you could pick it up for Ԛ£200 or thereabouts you would have a chance or making a profit ................
Comfort leather in good nick = Ԛ£175
Wheels ??? unsure till you know what they are
Spoiler if original = around Ԛ£50
Then all the normal bits.
Sounds like a bit too much work but maybe just maybe a good project. Give it a thorough check and go from there !!!!!!

cheers hartge, i was too thinking around that mark, i was'nt expecting to get rich or anything off it just something to cure boredom and maybe collect a few beer tokens for my trouble, well i cant get to see the car in the light till weekend but the guy isnt pressed to sell it so it will still be there, i will let u's know what happens
