Hi i mean the standard valance with the twin oil cooler vents not the sport one.
I dont know how to put pics up yet but if you go to the pic topic and have a look at the Dirty E30 ones its the silver 328.

Hi
thanks for the replys. I have the IS spoiler on the bottom of the valance but on the 328 of jordan he has twin oil coolers one above another between the fog lights? i was asking where you can get these from because i have seen a few cars with this on. they seem to be american E30s. or is it a custom bit done by a body shop?

Sorry for no pic it would have helped here. i must learn how...

tehy were on most of the lower valences to my knowlegdge, they were just blanked off as only the 325 had the oil cooler located there, no other models had the oil cooler (i think) so the vents were blocked off accordingly

looks to me like the bog standard front end!! but with a colour coded valance and additional lip spoiler.

there are four holes, two for brake cooling ducts, these are next to the fog lights, and two holes parallel to the floor, one is for the oil cooler on 325 (autos only) and the other allows additional air into the radiator.

here is my facelift valance with no spoilers on, the lower vent is blanked off cause this is a 320uato which does not have an oil cooler.

Image

on the left you can see my prefacelift 325 and the bottom vent is for the oil cooler.

Image

does that help any?

On the 325i's with Air Con, there is another cut out aboue the oil cooler cut out to allow more air to the radiator which is bigger (taller) than a non-AirCon radiator, so it would look like the Silver E30 posted earlier.

The Mtech front valance on the Sports (shown by billgatese30) has the 2 holes, but the top one will be blanked off unless it has AirCon.
Its a dark picture, but this is my Sport without the front valance....

i know what u mean!

right cars with two have aircon fitted. So yes cars from the USA had aircon as standard.

cars with out have just the one hole, or it has a little panel in it

The front panel with the additional slot above the oil cooler slot is listed as "FOR VEHICLES WITH AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND TROPICAL VERSION"
The part number is 41 33 1 961 227, but there's no price listed for it.
