Just put my cards back on which have been re-trimmed in leather..doors are catching now on the door seal..

Its on my CAB and its catching the rear portion of the seal..its the part that has the fur bristles on it and fits over the rear quater panels.. 8O

Anyone esle have this problem.. obvioulsy the thinckness has now changed and is causing the problem..

they were orignaly of another cab but dont think that would be the problem as scuff marks show that it was happening before..

hope i dont have to cut away part of that trim :?

Any answers or is it black n white? and i got to butcher the fur!! lol

dont butcher anything yet. i had same prob. what i did was cut away the leather where it was rubbing. if you put a pic up i'll show you what to cut. thing is you dont wanna cut too much as it will then show.

Hi Nav

thks for the reply,

Hmm, not sure i can do that..

this leather has been stiched along from the middle of the card hence 1 of the reasons why its rubbing there..

but looking from the inside when i shut and open the door i would have to trim about 3/4 of it... im not going to be able to do that whee the sticthing is :?

Well at least you had it and the cards were orignaly from YOUR vehicle so that isnt the reason here..

not sure how much of your was rubbing but its catching enough here to nearly pull out a plastic grommit that hold the card to the door

i have the same stitching. the problem is with the rear panel. the stitching comes over the vertical metal part over the door. you just need to cut that.

get some pics of the rear panel where its rubbing with the rubber oof and on and i'll show ya. the rubber that goes over the panel will hide what you cut so dnt cut too much.

Mine is rubbung there too, only on passenger side, but it was before I had it done. Is there an easy way to adjust the dorr? I assumed it had dropped.
