Was on my way home last night and wasnÔš't respecting the girl and she bite back. Was taking a left turn (it was a bit tight) and i lost the back. I turned into the slide to get control but by the time i got her to stop sliding i hit and ramped up onto the pavement and remodelled the front. Felt like a right tit at the side of the road. Blew the drivers side tyre as well.
After i had got my head back on straight i tried to change the tyre but the bloody jack doesnÔš't fir under the car no that its dropped. i needed to drive her onto the pavement again to get some elevation.
So anyway spent the better part of this morning get quotes for the repair.

it is, but the insurance might have other ideas, they might have her scrapped, still waiting for the quotes from the panel beaters.

You can always buy the wreck off them and either break or fix.

I know how u feel man... I got mine fixed when I pranged it aswell... just dont' see why they need 2 straighen the chassis... The lower valance is easy 2 fix, just unbolt it... it's the whole section from under the headlights and bolt another one on... dunno where u gonna find a new one though, 2nd I don't think will be a prob... actually all the parts 2nd should be easy 2 find.

Give

BEMOW Spares a call, they in PTA, also Bob's Auto Spares

thanks stevin, will give them a call.
bmwe30mtech the first quote is has come to R19 302.29 (about 1750 pounds). This quote looks a little over inflated and i think they got all the prices from the dealers. gonna be going back and forth with a couple panel beaters to get a better quote.
I am going through the insurance, but i know if the quote is too hi, and is more or less half the book value of the car, they will not fix her.
I can still drive her, but slowly, will keep every one up to date, the more info i get.

Dude  That's not good!

Sounds like it could however be linked with your rear suspension problem, you probably would have been fine if that was 100%

Not being funny but if the insurance want to scrap it, and give you a decent payout it might be worthwile...

Try and buy it back of them if they do want to scrap it, so you can break it! sounds like spare parts arn't cheap in SA
