do i spend Ԛ£1500 ish on a genuine sport or spend Ԛ£300 on a 325i and add kit wheels and lower it over time?

both cars have 12 months mot.

can a body kit respay and wheels be done for Ԛ£1200?

p.s it says newbie for a reason! LOL

go for the sport and bring it up to spec the other car will always be a 325 with the kit and bits added and of no value ....and when you may decide to move it on a sport will bring in more money

my head and more crucially my wallet doesnt!

oh well you only live once!

i think the sport will be purchased thi weekend.

its got compotive alloys on it but of course i want alpina style.

will 17's go straight on without making it look like a 4x4? this is all being done on a budget so are the cheapy wheels on ebay ok or a big waste of money?

it will look ok, as sports are a touch lower than your regular e30's

what size wheels has it got at the mo??

15's i think.

i got Ԛ£450 of halfords vouchers from work t'other day so was hoping to use them for the wheels but their rubbish website doesnt seem to show their full range of products. ever seen any alpina style in there?

they are hard to come by now in 17" bk racing used to do them.
let me know what you do with the compomotives, i'm after some track wheels

buy a set of 15inch bbs and sell the wheels on it and put the money by for the alpinas.buy a reasonable stereo from halfords and spend the rest of the vouchers on a cam belt/service parts/new brakes full oil change engine gearbox/diff will give you peace of mind and all will help to make it last and reliable if there is money left get a dizzy cap/rotor arm you know it makes sense
