hi all. newbie here with a problem. i have an e'reg 325i and i have lost the keys. the key isnt a problem as i have a new one on order from bmw(assuming the locks have never been changed) but the car has an imobiliser on it. it was on the car when i bought it. it is nothing fancy like thatcham or anything and i need to know how to remove it as the plug in key thingy was on the ring with the keys. any help will be much apreiated. i havent had it long and got it cheap. its a sort of techno voilet colour(in fact i think it is techno voilet ). cheers all.

Just a case of tracing all the wires, cutting them out and reconnecting to original wires

if you need to get the car to a garage and if you have a spare key fella ,and it has an imobiliser that still lets you turn the car over , run a wire from the coyil to the live on the battery , this will make the fuel pump start pumping fuel and give you a spark , then turn the engine over and it will start ,
