Hi guys, wonder if someone more knowledgeable can help me.

I have a set of (I THINK) E36 M3 Evo Front Arms for my 5 Stud swap.

Now i read online that E30 Balljoints work in the arms and are better because they are all metal and last longer.

I ordered Lemforder E30 Ball Joints from Autodoc. The Inners pressed in fine and fit great. The outers however were way too small for the Hole in the Arm, the hole in the arm is ~49mm.

Does this mean potentially i dont have M3 Evo Arms and that i have been conned?

Here is a pic of one arm, can just about see the number stamped on it.

The balljoint i removed from it was the type that had the Weird Tab on the back of it:

ECP have them but they are like ~£40, they must be cheaper somewhere else?

Thanks

Alex
