Under body heat shield

I'm looking for a replacement heat shield 51481932391 for the cabby.

I've found one or two but they are different part numbers and apparently don't fit the vert,

Anyone know what the difference is between a standard E30 saloon, a touring and the cabby versions of these shields - they all "look" the same
but maybe I'm missing something.

Cabby shield is also structural...it is much heavier gauge steel and acts as a floor/tunnel brace...if you look on oem you'll notice the difference in weight...If I remember the cabby one is 4kg....the saloon about 1.2kg

If yours is just rusty, clean it up and paint it.

Also check with Jon at Cotswolds as there was 1 in the UK with a dealer some time ago if you need a new one.
