Hi all,

haven't had an E30 for over 15 years. Wanted to get back in the scene and see how prices have changed.

How much are the below going for roughly?
All parts Genuine BMW etc,

Tech 2 and Tech 1
Body kit
2 door
4 door
Convertible
Steering wheel Tech 1/2 (370mm)
Sport leather interiors
2 door
4 door
Convertible
Touring
325i engine
LSD
Sport manual box
325i running gear
OBC kit
Headlight washers
AC kit
Oil cooler

Would like to start a project in the summer so wanted to know how much budget I need to acquire the above parts.

Also i heard about a company in Sweden/Norway who make OEM panels for common rust areas anyone have a link to their website?

Thanks

Welcome back
The panel place you talk about is "e30 garage Norway"
Tech 2 and Tech 1 3-5k depending on condition. Tech 1 more expensive than 2. Convertible tech 1 most expensive of them all I think
Steering wheel Tech 1/2 (370mm) 400 for tech 2, 600 for tech 1
Sport leather interiors depends on condition. 1.2-2k
LSD depends. 400-800
OBC kit 13 button 100-150
Headlight washers 600
AC kit 700

Oh wow! 🀯
I take it the Β£3k sports don't exist these day πŸ˜‚
I've had a quick look through the for sale section and these parts hardly pop up for sale it seems.
Any recommendations of where to start sourcing? I assume most over the years and been stripped or sent over to Eastern Europe 😭

Prices had started to rise, then lockdown made them go bonkers along with most other popular cars/bits.

These bits do come up but things like OEM Mtech kits, HLWW and aircon are few and far between these days and you have to pay the going rate or someone else will.

Bit quiet on here these days, ebay and faceache are best bets. Even admins here did not offer Zone mugs for sale here, only on faceache. :?

For a lot of things try BMW (Cotswolds) prices have gone up here too but often new is still the best way although unfortunately, new OEM panels are not as good as they used to be, best fit is still used original OEM if you can find a good one. Metal is thicker and seems to weld better too.

Valcas Garage are also good for panels and BMP do some quality carbon or fibreglass bits if you go that way.

Not going to be quick or cheap to build one from parts, getting one done may still be cheaper.

Seeing a few (mostly unfinished) lockdown projects coming on the market recently, more to follow if things start to tighten next year.

Oh and welcome back :thumb:

As the sum of the parts is always greater than the price of the whole I would buy a complete car as near to your dream car as possible and then upgrade as and when better spec' stuff pops up, as it does.

Seems my 'M tech 1 kit is now worth more than what I paid for the car 7 years ago, Happy happy.
