M52 ITB

Looking for abit more from my m52. Any advice or info would be great .

I have an m52 with all the standard stuff :
head skim and porting
M50 manifold
Raised limiter
330 injectors
Induction
All the supporting mods like e36 set up all round and decent suspension
And so on .......

I was toying with the idea of s50b32 itb and schrick cams . Was quoted buy dervtech between £2000-£2500 all in for full parts,install and map . Power output of 270-280 . Anyone one had experience with this set up ?

Then my mind wondered to, should i just put a s50b32 lump in (ideally id like an s54 but way to expensive) my question is would it be worth the extra money of the s50 engine considering the price of these engines these days

You are never going to buy the parts needed for Schrick cams and S50 ITB setup for that money let alone fit them and map it

An S50 engine conversion is no cheaper than an S54

Why fit 330i injectors? Do they flow the same cc? If not you have potentially messed up the air-fuel ratio

Cams are by far the best upgrade along with M50 intake, dont get too obsessed with Schrick, I can supply a pair for half the cost which are a better lift and duration than US S52 cams

Thats just what I've been quoted

I thought s54 cost more to buy, found an s50 for 4k and s54 for £6.5. Obviously loads of other parts needed but just the cost of the engines .

The injectors where fitted by the previous owner and it 100% over fuels
