Last 318is produced

Hi folks, first post to this forum so please excuse me if I've gone to the wrong section.

Picked up a 318is a few weeks ago, and noticed it was first registered 31st December 1991 - as far as I know, the 318is was produced 89-91, so would this potentially make it one of the final cars produced?

Had a wee bit of a google but couldn't find any information on how I could potentially work this out, any ideas would be welcome!

You can use one of the vin decoders to check your build date, or you could ask a dealer like Cotswolds to print a screenshot of your build spec and date

From a cursory check RealOem says they were built up until 05/91 so yours is likely to have been stored before registering or if it has been exported/imported it may have a later registration date.

Probably one of the last for certain and before Mart gets in here, any pics of it?

Registered and built dates are normally quite different. Every chance it was built earlier that summer. Get some pics up anyway, lets see her!
