Guys I have a 89 325i 2dr LHD registered in Jersey and looking to have it registered in UK, anyone been through this process before and shed some light on what maybe involved? Jersey registration document present showing 0 previous owners

The E30 is a factory LHD 325i and has been with the same owner from new (original sales bill from 89)

Going through the paperwork I have found insurance documents for the e30 which shows it was registered at a second address in SW London so it has been used in UK on a regular basis.

Would like to get it registered and mot'd before I decide what to do with it next.

Hi mate how's it going up there?, where are you guys now? you keep moving! :D

Surprised there is anything left of it from Jersey normally rusted to pieces. But AFAIK there is no duty to pay but you will need to pay VAT have a look here.

You just notify them using NOVA. I've brought a few in from various places and it is fairly painless

All good thanks buddy.

We last moved at start of 2018 and now having a clear out as need a break from it all lol.

The e30 is one of the cleanest I have seen in a while with no rust on body whatsoever just a shame some of the panels have age related dents and scrapes.
Owner was in his 70's from what I can gather and owned it from new and only covered 125000 km in it.

Some of the invoices and papers show it was used alot in France and spent some time in the UK.
