Hi All,

Looking to get a set of Bc racing br golds for my 1990 318is, still m42. Pairing with a set of 15x8 et20 with 225/45r15. I'm not looking to slam the car at all, just reduce the wheel gap whilst retaining handling, similar to the red e30 attached, but slightly higher, I also understand in the photo he is running slight camber, and a 205, reason why mine would need to sit slightly higher. The white e30 is mine, currently sitting on hr sports and bilstein b8's.

What would be my best bet for spring rates for a dd, that's still relatively comfortable, handles nicely and reduces some of the fender gap...? I understand this is an ask.

Stock they come 6k front and rear, I've heard 6k front 8k rear is good, but I don't know how this would react with a lower ride height.

Thanks for reading,
Niko.

Your fender gap will be determined on how you set your ride height with the spring platforms not the spring rates themselves. Also the spring rate is the spring rate. It doesn't change if the car is lower. The other beauty is if you want to change the spring rates you can always change the springs, they aren't that expensive.

Thanks for the reply! I understand that, what I am searching for is the spring rates needed to sit at that height or slightly higher, whilst not bottoming out and still handling well. I.e. 6k/8k or 8k/10k.

Cheers,
Niko.
