As some will know I recently rebuilt my Alpinewiess E30 after a crash with a replacement bonnet and right wing as well as repairs to the front frame and valance but although I got the right colour, 146 Alpinewiess 1 it is lighter than the original which is creamier, is there a slightly darker white for the early E30? There are three whites on the Motec/duplicolor chart and all three numbers cross reference for 1987 E30 and say Alpinewiss. I really do not want to respray, can't afford it on a UK pension anyway.

The three figure code on the turret defines the colour, if the paint is original. There may be a forward slash and another single number after the three figure code, which further defines the exact shade of the colour. This code will get you the colour the car was originally, but it may have faded or otherwise changed a little over the years.
