Hi guys, i've been having a look round the site and it seems to be one of the better BMW sites by far!!

I need to buy an E30 325i for an up coming charity rally type event, it'll basically need to get me to the Nurburgring in Germany, do about 8 laps over 2 days, and then get me home again.

I've been racking my brains over which car to buy and I cant think of anything better than an E30 325i so thats what i've decided on!

The only problem is that the spending limit for a car is Ԛ£1000 so i'm not gonna get a particularly nice one am I?

Am I likely to find one reliable enough to cope with the thrashing of its life were gonna give it for this budget?

Also an LSD is pretty much a requirement for the sideways fun, so do all 325's have an LSD or just certain models? how do I tell which ones I should be looking at?

I hope to keep the car afterwards (if it survives) and have it as a toy for weekends/trackdays etc so I dont want a real dog!

Any advice would be gratefully recieved, many thanks - John.

Only 325i sports had LSDs as standard; youl be lucky to find a good one of them for under a grand

i think you could probably pick up a 325 for under a 1000 on here or on the autotrader but the likeliness of it having an LSD is slim my man

They are not too hard to come by though

yes there is many dogs about, its like trying to find good looking women on a council estate

the good ones you will find will be more than Ԛ£1000 as there owners know what there worth, if they didnt the car would be a dog.

just find yourself a standard 325 and pick up an LSD for it, the lsd's are not hard to source.
