1. The whine noise my car makes when it starts
2. The fact I can make the car twitch by blipping the throttle when stationary
3. The way nose always sticks out in the parking bays when I park at the supermarket
4. The way it looks loads better than the other shite parked in my road
5. Whenever I get in I hit the steering wheel with my knee (itÔš's the low position once seated I really love, bashing my knee is just a reminder!)
6. Seeing the reflection of the aggressive nose in the reflection of the car in front
7. No-one, including the coppers, pay any attention to my car (apart from other Beemer fans)
8. Every time I am not paying attention it bites me (always when I going slowly!!) - get the blood pumping everytime
9. Seeing it parked outside my house when I come home from work
10. Dog-Leg Reverse!

What about the rest of you...apart from owning and driving what do you like about your car?

I like the M3 as it sounds like a dog, but it doesn't go like it sounds!

It sounds even worse when it's cold, it just makes lots of popping and banging noises!

I've got a lachs silver touring and it's the only one I've seen in Liverpool in the last year of ownership so I like that fact and as you say it looks better than most other old cars parked up on the kerb. The best thing though is on a cold frosty morning when your neighbours are getting jump started in there 'newer' cars which have took the knock in the icey weather you stroll out, whack your knee on the steering wheel getting in and your trusty old e30 fires up with only a tickle of the ignition key !

good answer fella !!

I also love to see my baby smile when I clean it every week

And how aggresive it looks compared to other cars, even when I park it at home

I love overtaking Newer BMW's in my old rusty car, whilst on the inside I drift along in leather with cruise control and all my toys.

I also like the fact I bought and insure my 2.5 for less than most of my uni friends spend on their insurance on a 1ltr Saxo!

1.The fact that the Alpine Whiteness looks better with "spray on movie dirt"

2. 2 washing machines in the boot at any one time

3. It drinks like Oliver Reed when you cane it, but does 36-38mpg on a run.

4. The fact it looks like its gonna bite your b@lls when its just sitting, parked in the street

5. The fact that e46 330CI drivers think they have something to prove, and HAVE to race it

6. I've had it a year, and driven it to some mad places-never EVER broke down on me.

7. Cost me the same as ONE MONTH'S payment on my boss's Ford Fukkit, and he's jealous of my car!

8. Every girl I know likes it (and its really just a fukked WHITE estate car)

9. I can do most anything on it-no complecated electroinkery

10. It makes me be a better driver (Nankangs,RWD and Lashings of rain=good throttle control)

Some good answers there peeps...common on seems to be the agressive profile when just sitting parked.

Think that is one of my favourites! :bmw:

The way that the E30 can blow the max power corsas, clios, fiestas etc away both in terms of looks, class, driveability, speed etc whilst costing the same if not less.

Got a 318i at the mo but lookin to convert to a 325i lump before summer so I can compete with the bigger boys. Looking forward to passing my mates who will be buying newer cars but I'm determined to keep it old skool.

320i cab

The way all people, be they six or sixty like your car. 6 = "cool car mate, is it an m3?" 60= "that's a proper car, very nice it is too."

ditto the way you can feel the road when driving, it tells you when it wants to play.

It still looks stylish and turns heads even though its 15 years old.

Some of mine are similar to yours iDreamBeemer.

1.The fact that irs pretty much a standard car thats 15 years old yet it looks way cooler than the majority of cars going about.
2. The reflection of the shark nose with the two grilles and quad lights in the back of peoples cars.
3. The fact that when I go down a street I can help looking at the car in large shop windows(sad I know).
4. Puts a grin on my face when I drive it.
5. Rear wheel drive "can" be fun.
6. 4 pot wrightness!(waiting for the slagging off.lol), I get good fuel eco plus its very nippy lil thing the "is". 8)
7. The fact that its different.
8. The sound.
9. The burburry interior! Love it!
10. The way the dash board wraps round you. Passengers always comment on that when they are in it.
11. When its all clean it looks evil!
12. The colour.
13. Gets quite a lot of looks from passers by. Had people speak to me about it in petrol stations and that. Plus some guy saying, thats a much better car than all the normal cars that young lads drive.
14. The way that some guy in a brand new 316i thinks that his car must be faster because it's newer.
15. Handling.

I havent thought of ten but I like my car because :-

1. It f*cked through the M.O.T

2. I've had it over a year and only needed to replace 2 bulbs and the blue
temp sender.

3. It sounds way better than the vast majority of other shit about.

4. Has'nt let me down once.

5. Its quite when I'm cruising and meaty when I'm biggin it.

Plus loads of other shit that i cant think of right now

The thing i like most about my latest e30 is that i paid Ԛ£70 for it and promptly sold the fog light kit for Ԛ£75 !, the fact that it is 'tax exempt ' also excites me ! :)

I havent driven mine much but......

1) its smooth and quiet on motorways but transformes to a howling banshee on country lanes and lets you know exactly what its upto.

2) the 6 pot noise

3) it can be fun on damp roundabouts

4) The look of the thing, it just looks right to me

5) the looks it gets

6) the ease with which it really annoyed a rep in a modern 318... tried to undertake and the old 320 out accelerated him so he had to drop back and go the proper way........ he really didnt like that

1. The fact that its made driving fun again after 3 years of rover ownership!

2. Its nice and simple (most of the time) If you want to work on the engine you can (m40.. tonnes of space) none of this citreon-esque taking the wing off to chang the oil filter.

3. The fact the (rather tappety) purr of the engine keeps my son ryan quiet, he screams in any car except the 318i

4. That flash of green envy on the faces of my metro/nova/205 driving friends when I put my BMW Keys on the table as I come into the pub (not been to the pub for months thpugh  )

5. That gush of pride that comes when someone actually makes an effort to come up to me to comment on how nice my car is (all kinds of people, young and old)

6. The fact there is a zone where I can get the answer to any little question about the car :-)

7. that I have done over 10,000 miles in 4 months all over the country, and she has never let me down.

8. That parts are easily available, and not expensive, she's only cost me 1 tyre and an exhaust bracket so far!

9. That look on the saxo drivers face as I overtake him out of town in top gear with ease... after he thought he was clever "being faster than a beemer" overtaking me in a 30mph zone.

10. That she's mine!
