Looking for a fire extinguisher to fit to my E30 . Anyone know of a bracket and modern fire extinguisher set up that works well in the original E30 location in front of passenger seat?

Depends what you want it for, looks or something that might work? Most say that you need 2kg of most things to be of any use.

The people that make the BMW extinguishers are a company called Gloria. They can be had without the BMW badging easy enough. 1 and 2 kg powder or foam.

They come with generic mounting brackets.

There are other foam extinguishers like AFFF made for car use like

The best was always Halon but that is now banned outside certain uses. The best replacement is Zero360 which is good but expensive.

Obviously best use of time is to get out of the car first

Hi guys, I hope that my reply won't be taken the wrong way. I work for Old Hall Performance, we are the retail seller of all Lifeline products. Lifeline is our sister company.

I noticed the website traffic coming from the forum so I decided to investigate, due to curiosity mainly. I see that there are people interested in extinguishers. Lifeline's products are of very high quality and are widely used in motorsport by professional teams such as Aston Martin Racing, Hyundai Rally Team, and many many more.

I appreciate the interest and traffic generated by the forum, and as a big classic BMW enthusiast, aspiring to own an E30 one day hopefully, have only owned an E36 before, I wanted to express my gratitude and support by creating a special 15% discount code for members of your forum.

I don't want to post it in my reply as it can be seen by non-members too, which kind of defeats the purpose of my idea. So please, drop us a quick email at: marketing@oldhallperformance.com quoting the website and I will happy to provide you with the code.

Thanks.

Martin
