After owning e30's for longer than i care to remember i thought i had turned /pulled every bolt/clip on these things .
That was until today i done two jobs i have never done before in my life .
1st was to swap the passenger seat runners and 2nd was to clean the track on the afm actually enjoyed learning today.

Name a job you have done e30 wise and actually enjoyed the experience .

Good chance if you fill any e30 and haven't changed the tank that would be a bad experience Hahaha

My greatest achievement was changing a dead fuel pump in pretty much pitch dark in just under an hour, and that included replacing the carpet trim etc. I can't say it was entirely enjoyable but I was very pleased with the outcome.

Swapped out the injectors with new ones a few months ago that was very satisfying and surprisingly not too painful

I think the only job which went completely smoothly and had a good outcome was replacing weather strips. Changing the old odometer gears was also quite enjoyable. Everything else has been a massive pain.

I changed the crank seal on one the other day. One of my fingers still bares the scars but I actually didn’t mind it although not in a hurray to do it again haha.

out of all the jobs i've learnt to do on my e30 while i've had it the one i enjoyed doing the most was building my 2.7 m20, i'd never done one before so it was a steep learning curve, but i have to say that i enjoyed that the most.

would i do it again? probably.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

I bought new! At the time the Bosch ones were only about £25 each from a random parts website, they had x4 in stock - then another X2 I got shipped from USA through amazon. After I bought them they suddenly rocketed to about £45 each.

They may have done another production run now though so might be a bit cheaper. It was like £25 new or £20 refurbed, so I just went new

Here’s the link for them on amazon I used. £27 for brand new... guess you gotta weigh it up! I always like to buy new for peace of mind

I paid less than £80 I believe for 6 (Zone Discount) plus postage to send them.

I paid £82 a couple of years back to Injectortune. A great service, they are as new when returned with new spacers, pintle caps, o-rings, & filters.
But interestingly comes a report with refurbished injectors giving info on.......
Resistance test
Leak test
Spray pattern
Static flow test both before and after cleaning.
So you know how good or badly they were performing prior to refurbishment.

I recently took out my heater blower motor, as the bearings were starting to ‘squeak’.
Not a difficult job, but working on a part of the car one doesn’t normally go into or see.
