A thread dedicated to the dead and dying E30s on our streets, in our garages, rotting in sheds, etc.
The car below (round the corner from me) hasn't moved for about a year now. It doesn't look too bad in the picture, but look closer and you'll see the spiderwebs.

There was quite a famous black 325i sport near Bristol that was sat on a driveway with flat tyres, very dirty for years, it's probably still there. Standard mental owner who won't sell it and would rather let it rot away then, ask £15k for it because 'M3's are worth twice that'.
I used to see this one which again I'm sure many zoners have done, on the A40 going into London. I went to inspect it to buy, it was on 68K miles. Story was it was her aunties who died and handed it down to her. So instantly makes it worth a fortune
It had been sat in a hedge and one side had some fairly intricate rust issues. There was also no history with it and it just didn't feel to be a worth while investment given it was a 316i Auto. She'd apparently turned a lot of people away because they wanted to modify it. It now has a sign saying NOT FOR SALE in the window. So another sentimental nut who would rather see it rot away and go to waste peddling the 'they're going up in value' line,

not an e30 but when i lived in louth (lincolnshire, nearly 10yr's back) i would regularly walk past an e23 745i (turbo) that had been parked up for a very long time under a tree (it was slowly turning green) on the road outside a very run down looking house.
while walking past one day the (ex)wife was fed up of me saying i'd rescue that if i could so she went & knocked on the door, the guy who answered said it was his brothers who'd died a few years back, he said i could have it for £2K if i wanted,
safe to say a week later i saw it on the back of a local scrappers wagon, then again a few months later at skegness stadium in a banger race,
it was such a shame to see that happen to it,
edit, forgot to add that it was a SA 745.
