Every time I tell people I have E30's they always say 'oh is it a M3'

To be fair when ever I've bene out in it, people always come over and reminisce about them, their parents, uncle, best friend etc who had one and how much they loved it!

I always say "make me an offer as I know what they go for" as everything is for sale at the right price, if you want it then pay the monies but they think you are naive/clueless and can get the car for £2k.

That was said to me at Dover when I was waiting for a ferry, by two lads who had walked down a line of Ferraris, Lambos, Astons and other exotics without stopping. The exotics were off on some sort of Gumball event.. It quite impressed my wife who had no idea that E30s were much admired.

the local rep for the H/A i'm with thought they were pretty cheap till i gave him the full spec of my sport & then showed him the agreed value for the insurance (minimum £18K) & i told him if he wanted to buy it he'd be looking in that region price wise before i'd even entertain the idea of selling to him,

i couldn't help but laugh when his face dropped
