I am having a massive clearout of stuff. I am not trying to circumvent the 'for sale' rules, but simply want to know if there is anyone who does up BBS centre caps, as I have a few in various states of condition.
Or are people happy to buy individual ones that need work?
I'm just trying to undertand the market?
Obviously the 'zone is where people know the value of these things - I am not trying to pull a fast-one, but wish to offer stuff on here first before I chuck everything on Ebay
.
BBS Centre caps - twisted cap hoarder...

The ones for the 15" wheels are the ones most people want, try to see what complete sets you can build up.

So - value difference estimate please between ones that need painting and those that do not?
I have a load of centre knobs with the slightly broken tabs - I know these work ok, but again do people actually want them?
This is what I mean about breaking the for-sale rules. What are they worth, and I'll advertise them as such.

thanks - good call.
Stupid because I have a good 14" set of wheels and caps (not in photo) and 4 very good caps on the 15s that are on the car.
...and another good set of 15s....
Too many wheels, though to be fair I have had the car since 2003.
So will nobody want the 14" wheels, and therefore I should use the caps from those with the spare 15" metal 'discs'?

OK thanks - I guess I have to sit down and make up a load of complete caps, best to worst.Cloggy Saint wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 5:56 pmRegardless of condition these still fetch (crazy) strong money. Even the worst condition cap can fetch upwards of £30, up to £60 + for a good one.

They are a nightmare to 'do up'
You have to be very careful of paint thickness and clearance to the wheels they are going on.
Id be interested in the Hartge caps if they are going for a reasonable price, pm me if you want to sell, thanks

Ta.
The Hartges I bought when someone at Birds said they had the last batch for my 16s and no more were going to be made, so I'll do some research on that. Do I really need 5 spare caps?
Cyclepath me innit.
