I bought Cabby front wing bottom section repair panels from Valcas - really well made.

Could these be used to make a cab. wing from a saloon wing ?

Interesting idea/thought, I can't see why not personally.

I don't have a saloon, so have no idea where the dimension difference is - I guess it's from the "rocker" strip to the bottom??

I have a pair of Cabby panels here - can measure if I knew what I was measuring for -

Well I guess these would extend the standard wing bottoms to make them Cabby compatible.

Saloon wings are one piece, top to bottom, but cab. wings have the extension piece at the bottom welded on, and were quite possibly made by BMW from saloon wings by slicing the bottom off of freshly made saloon wings before welding the extension on. This would have made economic sense rather than setting up a whole large pressing plant for relatively low demand cab. wings.
