Ha! Found this myself earlier, and was going to post it up sometime. 400+HP with max torque from zero revs must be quite entertaining in an E30.
Been keeping an eye on the cat C stuff from a couple of the yards I'm registered with for some time now!

AHhhhhh Mart! This must be the video you mean in your Private Message??!
This isn't ME my man...
Just something I came across.I've got a 2.0 Baur with an Idle issue....and certainly not 400BHP!Although the engine nearly sounds electric...
Just love the idea of this and got intrigued when I saw someone who converted a 2002 to electric.I reckon that E30 would be INSANE from standstill.I've been in a Tesla and the low down Torque is just phenomenal. No gearbox you see, just straight torque from the motor coupled directly to your wheels. The whole experience is pretty surreal, bloody weird noise they make too, literally how he describes it like someting from the 'Jetsons'.

It was wierd though, because for quite some time I thought 'An electric E30 would be kinda cool'.....this guy got there first though, and did a splendid job I must say.How great is the charge point under the Kidney Grill?!!
Now if only I can find an empty car park as big as that one to pull some donuts in!
