wow! They told me two cans per car. I thought 2 cans per wheel. So do i need 10 cans of paint and 10 cans of clearcoat? Or would it be 2 cans of paint per wheel and 1 can of clear per wheel? I have 14 inch basketweaves. Also, a lot of you guys seem to have 15' basketweaves. Those werent an option here in the states. Are they a direct bolt on?

2 cans of paint per wheel and two cans of clearcoat per wheel, one can of each spare for mistakes per wheel!

If you want the proper BMW paint then take this part number to the dealers, they are larger than normal rattle cans so i'd guess one can per wheel (plus the laquer of course).

Sorry i didn't word that reply very well, i ment it's bigger than the twin pack(body colour) rattle cans that you get from BMW.
I can't see a volume marked on the small tin of lacuer but the wheel siver is about twice the size and is 400ml.

I refurbed mine over the summer, I used halfords (UK automotive store) cans of Ford Moondust silver. Here's a couple of pics of how they came out.

I'm really interested in restoring my 15" Hartge wheels, but dont fancy the Ԛ£160+ bill from a wheel refurb company. Ive seen a few people who have done a diy refurb and they all look brilliant. Anyone have a step by step write up and list of products needed, either from experience or off the net? Thanks very much, Theo.
