Ive currently got coachlines/ornamental stripes on my car, and they arent in the greatest of condition, if i remove them will it show up badly on the paintwork, or will the difference be to the extent where it could be polished to merge. My car is zinnobar red, and the paint is in pretty good order... Anyone done this before?

I've done it on previous cars, does sometimes show depending on the condition of your paintwork. A heat gun or hairdryer will help with removal and then get the T-cut out to tidy the paintwork.
If your paintwork is in good condition, it will hardly show.

Just tried this on my Touring - the hairdryer didn't shift them. What do they stick 'em down with??? In the end, after hours of p-ing around, decided to put some equal width new stripes over the top in a more complimentary colour - looks good!
