Yes, you need to remove the old tweeter and then the plastic ring then it will sit nice and flush you will need to use a glue gun to get the tweeters stuck in place, bit of advice if the tweeter has a red logo on it get a sharpie to cover the red as you can notice it through the mesh of the tweeter, VOE which I didn't do.paultv wrote:Brilliant, thanks,
That's a great starting point - did the tweets fit in pods?

GZ's will fit and one of the sets comes with the tweeters and crossovers, will need to check with my son as we bought a set and fitted the fronts but never did the tweeters as by then his car got written off.paultv wrote:Yeah, I already replaced the tweeters in the pods as they were both blown - but they are really crap - it's time to do something with the sound system, I know it'll never be up to much in the cabby - but now it's seriously crummy - especially the rear speakers, its so hard to find something shallow enough to fit, and when you do, the magnets are tiny and the sound is tinny, no way I'm fitting some boom box in there either.
If you have tweets and xovers I'd be interested, pm me with details if you find you have them, and they need a home.
thanks
