My locking on my 325i cab has been playing up a bit recently ,but today I have shut the drivers door and the car has locked itself with keys inside. I have not got a spare key it was on my to do list. Have tried to get in but think it must be deadlocked. Any ideas how to get in it or will BMW supply me a new key if go there with my V5. Any advise welcome.. Many thanks...

BMW will provide you with a new key. If it’s urgent, remove the windscreen, it’s easy to do. Putting the seal back in is the only challenging bit.

There is no way it can be deadlocked.
Get a bit of wire and poke it in and pull the door handle.

Did that last month, with engine running too. Bit of wire, hooked up knob only to remember I keep a key in my wallet, idiot!
