Im sick... sick as a chip... anyone who tells you that replacing the petrol tank is easy, is, well to put it bluntly... Lying.

It's a true nightmare. (worse than doing your rear axle bushes imo)

Hell No!

It's taken 4 hours yesterday, and 6 hours today just to get the damn tank off.

All of the 13mm bolts were rusted and rounded off. You cant use power tools for fear of blowing yourself up. Nightmare.
Ended up with a hammer and chizzel on the fooker.

They are the only two jobs I've paid a garage to do on my car....

Hope you've got it all back together now. Could be worse I've just finished replacing the rear brake cylinders on a Citroen... oh the shame of it !

I would have lost my patience long ago mate and done a basil fawlty on it, but maybe's with the trolley jack handle and not a branch.

But hats off to you as i've been too lazy to even get mine out of the garage so far.

Really ought to get a move on with things, but I think i may be calling a garage to do the rear bushes :D

Well i thought i had better do it. as it has been leaking since before the last ferrybridge meet, and recently became more of a torrent than a leak.
