My power steering is very heavy, could be a failing pump as the rack appears to move freely when the car is lifted in the air.
Ebay.de shows plenty or new pumps, most are the ZF type and not the Vickers which I currently have on the car.
Is the ZF unit a straight swap, or are the fixings and pulley positions different?
Would it be best rebuilding with new seals and gaskets as I can't see much else failing on a pump?
PG.

That looks like a ZF rebuild kit, not a Vickers ones.Brianmoooore wrote:http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=275787
