I can say with experience, my X5 which is only used for posh days doesn't get used enough. I have just replaced the discs which warped one, after having seized brake calipers (again), this purely from lack of use.

Looks like i'll be forced to fire up the V8 a bit more often, no hardship there then

slap some mud tyres on, a jack up kit and cut a few sensor wires and it'll be reet , your not trying hard enough
