1990 convertible front wings

I need to buy a new front wing,a couple of questions,is the convertible wing different to the saloon and can anyone recommend a good pattern part opposed to a BMW Oem part.

cabby wings are different and no pattern parts exist for them. You can make one much cheaper with a pattern wing and an experienced metalworker. Above the trim strip is the same as non cab variants so cut off the section below and fabricate and weld in the cab bottom section.

That's what has been done recently to mine. We bought pattern ones and took off what was required, I did post some pictures in a previous thread about this, or you can find them in members cars section titled and so it began.......
