Anyone able to recommend to the correct brake pad for the rx7 caliper? Would like to avoid EBC.

Thanks

It's important to choose based on expected driving. I used PFZs (performance friction z) on my track car and have to say, they were great for both track and road. EBCs are not that bad, some need lots of heat to work properly and they have improved over the last few years.

Mintex are alright too, can't remember what the type was which I had.

Above are from my own experiences, not read on adverts!

ATE are an oem type which are generally reasonably priced!

EBC reds are good for road use in my experience. I used to always buy Textar for my own road cars but after using cheaper Mintex I found the performance is the same and the dust is ten times less

Thanks guys.

I think I'll go for HAWK. I am avoiding ebc for personal reasons. Pad material fell of the backing plate and left me with no brakes back in 2010. Have used performance friction z rated in my e46 M3 and they were great on road but didn't rate them for track.
