Hi Guys,
I am new on here and looking for advice regarding replacement of my car's soft top. It's the original one, but absolutely knackered, so would probably need a specialist to visit in East Kent and do the job. Alternatively, I could remove what's left of the original and drive it, roof down to a repairer, but wouldn't want to travel further than 50 miles max., so say Tunbridge Wells / Eastbourne radius etc.
Does anyone have experience of, and could recommend anyone for the job please? Also, whats a reasonable fitted price to pay for a decent quality hood?
Regards

I "think" CarHood will visit for a fee but you may need to provide power and a covered area as it may rain as I asked about this a few years ago.
Give them a call they charge about £700 for fitting but I think there me be an extra £50 on top of that if they can't removed the front plastic section in one piece and it needs to be replaced.
Gert on here had his done a few years back.

Hi Blightly, Is your roof a manual or electric? If it's manual, Carhood will be able to sort you out easily. If it's electric, then they have been known to stop things working...
Good quality work though.

Give Dave Upton a call, trades as Uptons & sons in Hastings. Very good trimmers and an easy bloke to talk too.
