I'm fairly confident this thread will sit gathering dust, but has anyone successfully fitted a set of evo bonnet seals? I bought some years ago and left them sitting for a few more years before going to fit them, by which time the backing on the sticky sections had started to come away and the tape lost it's adhesion. I've just had another attempt using some strong 3m double sided tape and all was good until I closed the bonnet and the seals got pulled away. Adjusted the bonnet to sit a bit higher, went through the fitting process again, left it 24 hours, closed the bonnet and the same thing happened  . I'm determined to fit these things as they look great, what's the secret??

I've never used the stuff but I'm pretty sure it isn't suitable for this! Thanks anyway.

Tigerseal is used for sticking on spoilers, skirts etc etc maybe someone else will advise, Silkaflex do an adhesive that stays flexible 221 I believe.

Just close the bonnet and tigerseal it shut - not like you'll ever need access to the engine bay!
