Hi guys,
I have a '90 325i, and am interested in the Zone chip. Anyone know what sort of gains i can expect ? And more importantly is the throttle response better/improved?

If you do a search on the site, you will find quite a bit of good feedback.
I fitted one in my cab (very easy to fit) and have been very pleased with it, it feels like it 'frees' the car up. It gives better throttle response, just make it drive nicer, and it even sounds nicer.

hi Fanny,ur car is looking good. About the zone chip, as you know im in SA, but am a bit wary about how the zone chip will work and react in SA climate, thats the only reason i havent ordered one. I was thinking of going the Dastek Unichip way (when i can afford it), if you do get one, i would be interested in how u find it.
cheers

The local temp is catered for by the IAT inside the AFM.
Fuel quality is the main issue with chips, 92 ron is required, provided you can obtain that grade locally there would be no issues peeps
